Web Search Assistant

Today I got a great news; finally Google approved an application I developed to be added to the list of Desktop Search Plug-in. The application name is Web Search Assistant. As its name suggest the application help doing web and desktop searching.

C++/CLI and .NET

I believe that C++/CLI will be a good step in the direction of making .NET a more popular development platform. Porting of existing software was somehow difficult by using the old C++ managed extensions for .NET. I can not claim experience in using managed extensions as I do all of my .NET development using C# and that I did not like those extensions. C# is a .NET language not like C++ which is the most powerful programming language available. Myself I feel more excited by the new version of .NET and Visual Studio because I will be able to switch to use C++ for .NET development as in native development.

Google and Windows

Through my usage of different Google new tools I have noticed something. Why is most of Google products are created for the Windows OS although Google is one of the supporters of Linux and Open Source Community?
I can not find a reason for this except that they want to reach a large number of users and this can only be achieved through Windows. So that is what really achieved by Microsoft, if you want your product to reach people, use Microsoft Windows.

Yes, I became a father. Last Thursday,31/03/2005 my son Sherif was born. I named him after my best friend and brother Sherif. I pray to God to help me raise him to be a good person.

Although It caused a lot of comments, I believe that it is a cool thing to try. Unlike many people I like that autolink feature. Anyway it is available and free check it and give your word.

A Day to remember

It is cool to start my blog with remembering my wedding to samar. It was Tuesday, 2nd of September 2003. I used to hate Tuesday but it turned out to be that many of my good memories are in Tuesday. They are only 7 days so it is bad to hate one.
Sheer up, Life is full of good things do not damage it with some stupid thinking.
