Pluto’s no longer a planet

They finally took that decision, Pluto is no longer a planet and the solar system consists of only 8 planets.

The main reason for that is the size of Pluto and its moon Charon because they are part of a sea of other objects that occupy the same region of space.

When will the text books get updated to reflect that?

Well, the answer to your question depends on which textbooks and in what countries. You know what I mean.

Those responsible for academic materials in "some" countries, might not be even aware that there was a debate about it. And those who are will say: "It is a plot against our economy to force us to reprint our textbooks, costing us a fortune..Grrr"

Let's wait and see how this will propagate... And when will people start to wonder what is Pluto anyway...poor Pluto....

He will always stay in our hearts and in MickeyVille...:)
